About Goretti Hospital

Goretti Hospital traces its origins to 1958, when healthcare facilities were limited in Kallianpur and nearby areas. Recognizing the growing need for medical care, Msgr. Denis Dsouza, the Parish Priest of Milagres Church, established a small hospital to serve the people. Later, Bishop Rt. Rev. Raymond D’mello invited the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles (SRA) to manage and develop the institution. The sisters arrived in 1962 and began dedicated healthcare services. In 1968, a new hospital block was inaugurated with facilities such as X-ray, laboratory, ECG, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and ambulance services. Today, the hospital continues its mission of healing with love and compassion while providing diverse clinical services and modern facilities.
